Hello everybody,

As you all know by now, in the past few days, a huge natural disaster hit Japan. It's unlike any natural disaster Japan has ever seen. Just to give you an idea of just how devastating it was, it is the most  natural disaster Japan has seen since the Hiroshima bombings and has at this stage already affected over 90000 lives and this number is expected to rise even further in the next few days.


Family members and friends are washing up on the shores of north-eastern Japan.

The disturbing news came in yesterday that Japan now has a shortage of coffins.

But the worst of it is... it could have been any of us.

We simply can't just sit there.



This is why for the next month or so, I will be offering special photo prints of my artworks or any image (artwork/photo etc.) that you have Copyright to or permission to use and bookmarks for anyone who donate $2 (USD) or more.

That is, you will receive:

1x 4x6' print of either my artwork or yours
3.5cm x 15cm  rectangular or heart-shaped bookmark

Proceeds
100% of the money you donate will be sent to the Red Cross. I know prints and bookmarks in this day and age aren't exactly much but please, please do it for Japan and not the gains.

The Print
The image for the print must be chosen from my deviantART gallery, although I wouldn't know where else you'd get it from anyway. And I know they're not the greatest things you see and I know they weren't all created recently but I'm hoping it's okay enough to interest you.



You can also use your own image or artworks but you must have Copyright to them.

The print will be made using high quality photo paper and printed from my home printer. This gives me the option of cropping the photo to the optimum standard and also make them for a lot cheaper. I don't have that much time on my hands with school and all, so at the moment this is the best I can offer.

However I can guarantee that every single print will be clear and crisp in colour and lines so it will still look like a professional print.

The Bookmark
Will be handmade by either ~tanniecookie or me. You can chose from your traditional rectangular bookmark or a heart-shaped one. You can chose a colour we will pick a texture in that colour as the base for the bookmark. On top of this we will include a one-line message hand-written in Japanese by our friend Cara and 3D sticker embellishments.

Once you have send the donation in, please send me a note with your details and I will create the print and bookmark without delay and post it to you the next day. It should then arrive in approximately 3-5 days depending on where you live.

As well as this, I am also a volunteer commenter of the group. So if you have any deviations belonging in the categories of Traditional Art, Manga/Anime or Cartoons and Comics, feel free to send a link to it and I will provide you with a constructive comment as soon as possible. I will also accept Fanart and Literature but there are plenty of commenters at #ProjectComment who may well do a better job commenting on those artworks than I do.
